Overview & Specifications
What Are Candle Gift Boxes?
Candle gift boxes are candle cartons designed to be given, not just shelved: the outside carries gift artwork, the inside is printed, and an insert holds each candle and accessory in a fixed position. They are folding cartons; rigid presentation boxes for candles are a separate product.
Candle gift boxes sit in the Tuck Boxes range and under Candle Packaging.
What it has to do
What a Candle Gift Needs from Its Box
A candle gift needs each item held in place, a base that carries several vessels, an opening moment, room for a gift message and the brand-supplied warning, and seasonal artwork when needed. Each need below is matched to the option that meets it.
01
Each
Each Item Held in Place
Sets mix jars, matches, wick trimmers or tins. A paperboard, foam/EVA or molded pulp insert gives each item its own cavity.02
A
A Base for Several Vessels
Two or three filled jars weigh more than one. The locked base and board grade are chosen from the full set weight.03
An
An Opening Moment
Interior print and the insert layout are what the recipient sees first. Print coverage can run inside as well as outside.04
Room
Room for the Gift Message and Warning
A gift message can sit inside the lid, and the brand-supplied fire-safety copy is planned on the panels. ASTM F2058-07(2021) covers candle fire-safety labeling. Placement is confirmed by the brand against the applicable labeling requirements.05
Seasonal
Seasonal Artwork
Holiday and occasion editions change artwork, not the structure. More under Holiday & Seasonal Packaging.

How Do You Size a Candle Gift Box?
Lay out every item in its gift position, measure the full arrangement and size the insert first; the carton is sized to the insert. The Snap Lock sizing guide lists carton allowances.
| Measurement | What to Record |
|---|---|
| Candles | Filled height with lid and widest diameter of each |
| Accessories | Matches, trimmer, tins: size of each |
| Layout | Row, grid or tiered |
| Set weight | Combined weight of everything in the box |
Pack the Full Gift Set
Pack every item in its cavity and close the box. Handle the packed carton as intended and check the base, closure and insert.
What to Check Before Bulk Production
Review a packed gift set with the final artwork. Record the approved insert, base and print on the signed-off sample.
| If the sample shows | Review before approval |
|---|---|
| Items shift in the insert | Tighten each cavity |
| Base bows with the full set | Raise the board grade |
| Gift message hidden by an item | Move it inside the lid |
| Warning copy placement unclear | Brand confirms placement against labeling requirements |
Seven days covers standard production from approved proof once the specification is confirmed; delivery timing is confirmed separately.
