Overview & Specifications

What Are Eid Gift Boxes?

Eid gift boxes are boxes printed for the two Eid celebrations, Eid al-Fitr at the end of Ramadan and Eid al-Adha about ten weeks later. Most hold dates, maamoul, baklava or chocolates, set in compartments, and are given to family, guests, clients and staff.

Eid Gift Boxes sit in Holiday & Seasonal Packaging and are built on Custom Two Piece Rigid Boxes, Custom Drawer Boxes or Custom Straight Tuck End Boxes.

What it has to do

What an Eid Gift Needs from the Box

An Eid gift usually holds food set out piece by piece, carries a greeting in Arabic, and is given on a date that moves every year. Each need below is matched to how it is met.

  • 01

    Each

Each Date and Sweet in Its Place

Dates and pastries are presented in rows. A compartment insert holds each piece apart so the arrangement survives handling, where the structure supports inserts.
  • 02

    Contact

A Contact Surface Matched to the Food

Dates are moist and sticky, maamoul is buttery, and baklava is soaked in syrup and oil. The board, coatings, inks, adhesives and any liner, insert or window film are checked for each food, how long it stays in the box and the storage temperature, per order.
  • 03

    Greeting

    A Greeting Written Correctly

Arabic reads right to left and its letters join. The brand supplies or approves the calligraphy, and it is checked on the proof so no letter is broken or reversed.
  • 04

    Ready

    Ready for a Moving Date

Eid follows the lunar calendar and arrives about 11 days earlier each year. The run is planned against that year's date: proof, 7 days of production, then transit.
Customization

Customize Your Eid Gift Boxes

Eid gift boxes are customized around four choices: structure, compartments, artwork and finish. Start with the structure, because it sets which inserts are possible.

01

Structure

Lift-off lid, drawer that slides out, or a tuck carton for sweets and iftar packs.

02

Compartments

Rows of cavities for dates, a mixed tray for sweets, or one cavity for a gift item.

03

Artwork

Crescent, lanterns, geometric patterns and an "Eid Mubarak" greeting in Arabic, English or both.

04

Finish

Gold foil on a deep green, navy or white wrap, emboss on the greeting, or soft-touch lamination.

Ordering

How to Order Eid Gift Boxes

Ordering Eid gift boxes takes five steps: share the food and the Eid date, confirm the structure and dieline, approve the artwork proof, move into production, and ship. Orders start at 500 units, with standard production in 7 days from approved proof after the final specification is confirmed.

  1. 01

    Request a Quote

Share the food or gift, piece count, quantity, structure preference and which Eid the boxes are for. Packaging Dock typically responds to quote requests within 24 hours.

  2. 02

    Confirm the Structure and Dieline

Structure, size and compartments are set around the food. Packaging Dock then provides a custom dieline.

  3. 03

    Approve the Artwork and Proof

Artwork is prepared on the dieline with free design support available. Arabic text and foil areas are checked on the proof before approval.

  4. 04

    Production

Production begins after the artwork proof and final specification are approved. Standard production is 7 days from approved proof, with rush production available on request.

  5. 05

    Shipping

Finished boxes ship across the USA and worldwide. Transit method, delivery time and shipping cost depend on the destination, order volume and shipment requirements.

Sample note: A pre-production sample can be packed with your dates or sweets before the full production run.

FAQ

Eid Gift Box FAQs

Can you print Arabic calligraphy?

Yes. The brand supplies or approves the Arabic text, and it is checked on the proof before production. Packaging Dock does not translate.

Can the box have compartments for dates?

Yes, where the selected structure supports inserts. The compartments are checked against real dates on a sample.

Can dates and sweets touch the box directly?

They can when the board, coatings, inks, adhesives and any liner, insert or window film are checked for that food. Sticky dates and syrup-soaked baklava need a contact surface that resists moisture and oil; the check also covers how long the food stays in the box and the storage temperature.

Do you make Ramadan boxes?

Yes. Ramadan iftar packs are often tuck cartons, and Ramadan gift boxes use the same rigid structures as Eid boxes.

Can one box work for both Eids?

Yes. A design with an "Eid Mubarak" greeting and no year suits both Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.

When should Eid boxes be ordered?

Count back from that year's Eid date: allow for proof approval, 7 days of production and transit. Eid arrives about 11 days earlier each year.

Can I get a sample before ordering?

Yes. Complimentary sample kits ship within two business days; the customer covers shipping. A pre-production sample can also be packed with your food.

What is the minimum order and lead time?

Orders start at 500 units from $1.25 per unit. Standard production is 7 days from approved proof once the final specification is confirmed, with rush production available on request.
