What Are Custom Perfume Boxes?
Custom perfume boxes are rigid presentation boxes for perfume and fragrance bottles, sized from the finished bottle and cap and fitted with an insert that positions the bottle as the box opens. What a Perfume Bottle Needs from the Box
A perfume box has to fit the bottle's real shape, clear the cap, hold the bottle in place, account for glass weight and carry the label copy the outer container needs. Each need below is matched to how the box meets it.

Size
Size From the Bottle, Not the ml
Bottle width, height, base shape, cap profile and decorative elements influence the internal dimensions. The actual finished bottle provides a more reliable basis than nominal fragrance volume alone.02

Clear the Cap and Shoulders
Decorative caps and shoulders are often the widest or tallest point. The interior and the lid are sized around them so the cap is not pressed when the box closes.03
Hold
Hold the Bottle Upright
A fitted insert can position the bottle at a deliberate angle or height while reducing movement inside the box. The insert is planned alongside the structure and outer shipping system.04

Account for Glass Weight
Glass bottles are heavy for their size. Board thickness and insert material are chosen for the packed weight; the rigid box does not by itself prevent breakage in shipping.05
Carry
Carry the Outer-Container Label Copy
When perfume is sold in an outer box, required US cosmetic labeling is planned on the outer package, including the identity, net quantity and ingredient information required for that configuration. The brand supplies and approves the final compliance copy.
Which Rigid Structure Fits Your Perfume Box?
Shoulder Neck, Flip Top and Drawer formats introduce the fragrance in different ways. Choose Shoulder Neck for a layered, collared reveal, Flip Top for an attached lid with an inside-lid message, and Drawer for a sliding reveal.

Rigid Perfume Box vs Folding Perfume Carton
A rigid perfume box is wrapped greyboard set up at the factory, with a fitted insert, and the box can be retained after opening. A folding perfume carton is printed paperboard that ships flat and is folded closed around the bottle, used for retail shelves; it typically uses less material and can be lower-cost depending on specification and volume. Choose by price point and presentation.

What Size Perfume Box Do I Need?
Size the box from the finished bottle, not the fill volume. Two 50 ml bottles can differ widely in height, width and cap shape, so measure the bottle at its tallest and widest points, including the cap, then add the insert and board.

The insert adds its wall and base thickness around the bottle, and the rigid structure adds board and wrap thickness to each exterior dimension.
