Overview & Specifications
What Are Promotional Stickers?
Promotional stickers are stickers made to be given away so people stick them on laptops, bottles, notebooks, cars and doors, carrying the brand or message wherever they go. They are handouts, not product labels.
Promotional Stickers sit in Campaigns and are made as Custom Individual Stickers, Custom Sticker Sheets or Custom Sticker Rolls.
What it has to do
What a Promotional Sticker Has to Do
A promotional sticker has to be taken, stuck somewhere and kept looking right. Each need below is matched to how it is met.
01
Matched
Matched to the Surface and Exposure
A sticker on a water bottle is washed; one on a car sees sun and rain. Film stock alone does not make a sticker outdoor-ready: the stock, print protection (lamination) and adhesive are confirmed for the surface and exposure.02
Easy
Easy to Hand Out
Individual die-cut stickers go into bags and orders one at a time. Sheets hold several designs; rolls let volunteers peel fast at an event.03
QR
A QR Code Tested to Scan
A QR code links to a site, offer, donation page or sign-up. Code size, contrast and quiet zone are planned on the proof; scanning is confirmed on the printed sample with the final finish and in its applied position.04
Off
On or Off as Needed
Permanent adhesive for laptops and bottles; removable adhesive where the sticker should come off cleanly.
Promotional Stickers vs Promotional Labels
Promotional stickers are handed out for people to stick where they like; promotional labels are applied to products to carry an offer. The table compares them.
| Attribute | Promotional Stickers | Promotional Labels |
|---|---|---|
| Who applies it | The person who receives it | The brand, on the product |
| Purpose | Brand visibility, swag, campaign message | Offer, bonus, contest, limited run on a pack |
| Typical surface | Laptops, bottles, cars, notebooks | Boxes, bags, bottles, jars |
| Typical format | Individual die-cut or sheets | Rolls for applicators |

Political and Advocacy Campaign Stickers
Campaign stickers are handed out at rallies, canvassing and events, and often carry a QR code to a donation, volunteer or voter-information page. Outdoor use is confirmed for stock, lamination and adhesive. Disclaimer wording and placement, and any election rules, are the campaign's responsibility.

What Size Promotional Sticker Do I Need?
Pick the size from where people will stick it: a laptop takes a larger sticker than a phone case or bottle. Final size and shape are set on the approved proof.
| Measurement | What to Record |
|---|---|
| Where it goes | Laptop, bottle, car, notebook, order insert |
| Size | Width and height |
| Shape | Die-cut to the logo, circle, square or rectangle |
| Exposure | Indoor, outdoor, washed or handled |
Test on the Real Surface
Stick a sample on the surface it is meant for. For outdoor or washed use, check it after the exposure it will face.
What to Check Before Bulk Production
Review printed samples on the real surfaces. Record the approved material, adhesive and finish on the signed-off sample. Where a sample shows a problem, review the cause, revise the specification and confirm it on another sample.
| If the sample shows | Cause to review |
|---|---|
| Edges lift on a curved bottle | Material stiffness and adhesive against the curve |
| Color fades or scuffs outdoors | Stock and lamination against the exposure |
| QR code does not scan | Code size, contrast, finish and applied position |
| Die-cut edges tear when peeled | Cut line and backing |
Seven days covers standard production from approved proof once the specification is confirmed; delivery timing is confirmed separately, so count back from your event or campaign date.
