Overview & Specifications
What Are Individual Stickers?
Individual stickers are finished stickers cut and supplied one by one, each on its own piece of backing liner. Instead of being peeled from a shared sheet or roll, each piece is ready to give away, pack or apply as it is. The cut can follow the sticker's outline through both face and backing (die-cut), or leave a small backing border around a kiss-cut sticker.
How Individual Stickers Work
The format works through three production details.
01
Separate Finished Pieces
Every sticker is cut and supplied as its own unit, ready to hand out or pack without separating it from a carrier.
02
Cut Shape and Backing
The face shape, cut line and backing are planned together; die-cut, kiss-cut with a border or another approved cut is chosen for the material and use.
03
Made for Manual Use
Individual pieces suit hand application and one-at-a-time distribution; repeated automated labeling is better served by a roll.
Anatomy of an Individual Sticker
01
Face Stock
The printed sticker material.
02
Adhesive
Permanent or removable, chosen for the surface.
03
Backing
Its own liner piece, cut to the sticker or with a border.
04
Cut Line
The custom outline of the sticker.
The cut line follows the artwork, so the die line sets a small bleed or border around the design to keep the shape clean.

When Are Individual Stickers the Right Choice?
Individual stickers suit stickers handed out or packed one at a time: order inserts and brand extras, events and promotional giveaways, product seals and decorative accents, and laptop, bottle or packaging stickers where the material suits the surface.
01
Ready
Ready for Distribution
Separate pieces can be handed out, packed into orders or used as inserts without separating them from a carrier sheet first.02
Flexible
Flexible Shape Selection
Die-cut, kiss-cut or other approved cutting creates product-specific outlines where the material supports them.03
One-at-a-Time
One-at-a-Time Application
Staff or customers apply stickers by hand rather than through a dispensing setup.04
Alternative
When Another Format May Fit Better
For labeling many items with the same label, choose a Sticker Roll. For a set of different designs together, see Sticker Sheets. For temporary window graphics, use Static Cling Stickers.

What Size Individual Sticker Do You Need?
Quote by the sticker's width × height and shape, plus where it will go. A sticker for an order insert can be any practical size, while one for a bottle, jar or laptop is sized to the flat or gently curved area it will sit on.
There is no fixed size list: any practical size and shape is built to order.
Size and Material Reference
The figures below are planning references, not fixed manufacturing rules; final size depends on the surface and design.
| Use | Typical Reference |
|---|---|
| Order inserts and giveaways | About 2–4 in (50–100 mm) across |
| Product seals | About 1–2 in (25–50 mm) across |
| Laptops and bottles | About 3–4 in (75–100 mm), vinyl recommended |
| Cut border | Commonly about 1/16–1/8 in (2–3 mm) around the design |
| Material | Typically Suited To |
|---|---|
| Coated paper | Inserts, seals and indoor use |
| Vinyl / PVC | Laptops, bottles, and outdoor use when print, protection and adhesive are specified for it |
| BOPP or PET film | Moisture-exposed packaging |
| Holographic, metallic or clear | Collectible and promotional stickers |
Important: These are reference figures. Adhesion and durability depend on the face stock, adhesive, coating and surface, so they are confirmed for the actual use; curved, textured or very small surfaces may need a test first.
If you are unsure, share the design, where the sticker will go and whether it should be removable with the quote request, and the sticker is specified around it.
Die-Cut or Kiss-Cut?
Die-cut stickers are cut through face and backing to the sticker's outline, so the piece is the shape of the design. Kiss-cut stickers keep a small backing border, which makes the sticker easier to peel.
