Overview & Specifications
What Are Influencer Boxes?
Influencer boxes are the packaging for products sent to creators, who open them on video for their audience. Unlike a PR box read at a desk, an influencer box is designed for the camera: what the viewer sees first, second and last when the lid comes off.
Influencer Boxes sit in PR & Promotions and are built on Custom Roll End Tuck Top Boxes, Custom Flip Top Rigid Boxes or Custom Drawer Boxes.
What it has to do
What a Creator Program Needs from the Box
A creator program sends boxes to many people, at several levels, in waves, and hopes each one gets filmed. Each need below is matched to how it is met.
01
Reveal
A Reveal Worth Filming
The opening is planned in layers: printed lid inside, a card, tissue, then the product. A magnetic flip-top or a drawer adds a clean motion on camera.02
Tiers
Tiers Without Mismatched Boxes
Larger creators often receive more products. When each tier's contents fit the same outer box, only the insert or card changes; when they do not, each tier gets its own size in the same design.03
Card
A Card for Each Creator
A card with the creator's name, talking points or a campaign hashtag makes the box feel addressed. Names are printed where variable data is confirmed for the print process.04
Same
The Same Box for the Next Wave
Monthly or seasonal seeding waves reorder the approved box, so every wave looks the same on screen. A changed product means the insert is rechecked.
Influencer Box vs PR Box
An influencer box is designed for a creator filming the opening; a PR box is designed for a journalist testing the product. The table compares them.
| Attribute | Influencer Box | PR Box |
|---|---|---|
| Recipient | Content creators | Journalists, editors, reviewers |
| What matters most | The reveal on camera | The product and the facts |
| Inside | Printed lid, tissue, creator card | Product insert, press card, QR to press kit |

What Size Influencer Box Do I Need?
Size the box to the largest tier's contents, then check whether smaller tiers fit the same box with a different insert. Final dimensions are set on the approved dieline.
| Measurement | What to Record |
|---|---|
| Products per tier | Items and sizes in each tier |
| Layout | How products sit for the reveal |
| Card and tissue | Card size and tissue layers |
| Mailing | Sent as is, or inside an outer shipper |
Film the Sample
Open a packed sample on camera before approval. The video shows whether the reveal order and inside print read as planned.
What to Check Before Bulk Production
Review a sample packed with the real products and filmed being opened. Record the approved structure, insert and finish on the signed-off sample. Where a sample shows a problem, review the cause, revise the specification and confirm it on another packed sample.
| If the sample shows | Cause to review |
|---|---|
| Inside print hidden by tissue | Tissue layer and print position |
| Magnetic lid springs open | Closure strength against the packed contents |
| Smaller tier rattles in the box | Insert for that tier, or a separate size |
| Glare on camera | Finish choice, checked on the filmed sample |
Seven days covers standard production from approved proof once the specification is confirmed; delivery timing is confirmed separately, so count back from the date the first wave must reach creators.
