Overview & Specifications
What Are Corporate Gift Boxes?
Corporate gift boxes are branded boxes a company uses to give gifts to clients, employees and partners. Unlike seasonal boxes, they are used all year, so the design is led by the company brand rather than a holiday.
Corporate Gift Boxes sit in Campaigns and are built on Custom Two Piece Rigid Boxes, Custom Flip Top Rigid Boxes, Custom Drawer Boxes, Custom Collapsible Rigid Boxes or Custom Roll End Tuck Top Boxes.
What it has to do
What a Company Gift Program Needs from the Box
A company gift program runs all year, often for several occasions, to people in offices and at home. Each need below is matched to how it is met.
01
Brand
On Brand for Every Occasion
A logo-led design works for a client thank-you in March and a work anniversary in October. The occasion is set by a printed card, not the box.02
Fits
Fits the Confirmed Kit
The insert is cut to the confirmed items, so the box is sized after the kit is chosen. One box serves several programs only when each program's contents fit it.03
Ready
Ready for Remote Recipients
Hybrid teams mean many gifts are posted. A rigid box goes inside an outer shipper; a mailer is posted alone once its shipping specification is confirmed for the packed kit.04
Personal
Personal to Each Person
A card with the recipient's name or a note makes a shared design personal. Names are printed where variable data is confirmed for the print process.
Corporate Gift Boxes vs Holiday Gift Boxes
Corporate gift boxes carry the company brand all year; holiday gift boxes carry a seasonal design for year-end gifting. The table compares them.
| Attribute | Corporate Gift Boxes | Holiday Gift Boxes |
|---|---|---|
| When used | All year | Thanksgiving through New Year |
| Design | Company brand, no season | Neutral winter or "season's greetings" artwork |
| Occasions | Client thanks, onboarding, milestones, events | Year-end gifts to clients and staff |
| Occasion shown by | Printed card | The box artwork |

What Size Corporate Gift Box Do I Need?
Size the box after the kit is confirmed. Measure every item as packed, choose the layout and add room for the insert and card. Final dimensions are set on the approved dieline.
| Measurement | What to Record |
|---|---|
| Items | Length, width and height of each item |
| Layout | Side by side, stacked or in rows |
| Card | Size of the occasion or name card |
| Delivery | Handed over, posted alone, or posted in an outer shipper |
One Box for Several Programs
Compare the kits for each program. If they fit one box with a different insert, one design can serve them all; if not, each kit gets its own size.
What to Check Before Bulk Production
Review a sample packed with the real kit and printed with the final artwork. Record the approved structure, insert and finish on the signed-off sample. Where a sample shows a problem, review the cause, revise the specification and confirm it on another packed sample.
| If the sample shows | Cause to review |
|---|---|
| One item sits higher than the rest | That cavity's depth against the item |
| Logo foil breaks on fine lines | Foil line weight and wrap surface |
| Mailer dents in transit | Board grade and shipping specification |
| Name card misprinted | Data file and variable-data setup |
Seven days covers standard production from approved proof once the specification is confirmed; delivery timing is confirmed separately, so count back from the date packing starts.
